Here you learned about the concept of templates. Templates help you to create your content even faster in the radiosphere Studio Editor by using preset layouts. You can also apply this principle to components. If you select a component in the editor for which a template has been stored, it automatically appears with all the previously determined presettings.
Creating and editing component templates
To create a new component template, click on Apps > Components in the radiosphere Studio selection menu on the left. Search for the component you want to create a template for. You will now be taken to the component overview page. Select + Add and a small window will open. Enter a name for the template in the free line. Confirm your input with Add.
Afterwards you will get to the component template Editor. This works exactly like the one for posts. Here you configure the component according to your wishes. As in the example for the Radio Buttons component, add several buttons and label them with a placeholder for the actual labels. These will then automatically appear in the post Editor when you select the component and the corresponding template.
Once you are done with the configuration, click Save and close the Editor. You can change the component template at any time by clicking on the corresponding template on the component overview page.
Select component template
Open the post Editor and add the desired component. In the Select settings on the right under the component name you will find a dropdown menu. There you will see all templates that have been created for the component. Select the appropriate one and it will automatically appear in the Editor preview. You can now make further adjustments to the component if necessary.
Delete component template
If you want to delete a component template, you have to do this via the component overview page. Click on Actions > Delete to the right of the template name.
