You can set conditions for components on your website and app to make them visible or invisible to your users. The feature allows you to display components of your content only at a certain time or to selected people. Of course, these conditions can be combined with each other. You can apply different conditions to different components within a post, edit them at any time in the radiosphere Studio Editor and de- or activate them.
Conditions Categories
You can configure the visibility of components using conditions categories:
Time
This includes all conditions related to the time range of components.
- Time range: Components are only visible in the specified time range.
- Weekdays: components are only visible on specified weekdays
- Local Time: Components are visible only in the specified time window
User
Concerns conditions that define person-specific constraints.
- Login: Components are only visible for logged in (Registered), non-logged in (Anonymous) or all (No filter) users.
- Gender: Components are only visible for male, female or non-binary users.
- Gender->Missing?: Components are also visible for users who did not specify their gender.
- Age: components are visible for users of a certain age or age range
- Age->Missing?: Components are also visible to users who have not specified an age.
Set conditions
In the radiosphere Studio Editor, click on the component for which you want to set conditions. You can also select a container in which multiple components are embedded. In this case you will set the conditions for all the components inside.
On the right in the select settings under Conditions you can now set the desired conditions.
Don't forget to confirm your settings by clicking OK. You can delete the condition again by moving your cursor to the small gray icon in the respective input field and then pressing the ⊗ that appears.
Important: The Editor Preview is automatically based on your Conditions settings. This means that the component in the preview will disappear if, for example, you have selected a time that has not yet arrived. This also applies to personal settings. If you set something here, the component disappears in most cases, because you have not entered any of the requested information in radiosphere Studio. If the component disappears because of the conditions settings, you can still customize it by clicking on it in the root overview on the left. You can also display your component in the Editor Preview, even though conditions have been defined for it. How to do this is explained below.
From the view of... preview
You can display the Editor Preview from the perspective of certain groups of people and starting from a selected date and time. This way you can see the component with conditions as it is visible or invisible to the end user. To do this, click on the Time range field in the line above the Editor Preview and specify the desired information. Click on the male symbol to the right of it and then on Registered to view the preview from the point of view of a person who has entered person-specific information when registering for your page. You can now enter what these are. If your entries match those of the Conditions settings, the component will appear in the Editor Preview.
