Interactions are interactive components that allow you to connect with your listeners. You can use them to create surveys, raffles and competitions and place them on your website and app. Participants' responses to these components are fed directly into the radiosphere studio and can be accessed and analysed within your organisation's account. Interactions are also an important tool to learn more about the preferences and opinions of your listeners.
For the creation of interactions, we provide you with a separate area in the radiosphere Studio: Campaigns. There you will find an overview of all the interactions you have already created, details about them and their results. In the following, we would like to explain the structure of interactions in more detail. If you want to know how to create campaigns with interaction components, click here.
Components of a campaign
A campaign usually consists of a series of interactions or interactive components. Only when these have been completed and confirmed by the participants does participation count as successfully completed and can be retrieved by the radiosphere Studio as a result. You place one or more interaction components on so-called slides, which you can arrange according to the sequence of the interactions. We would like to explain the most common slides and their components in more detail:
Information/Instructions: Offers the possibility to provide listeners with information or instructions on the interaction. What is it about? What is the task? Is there anything to win and if so, what? When will the participants get feedback? The only interactive component on this introductory slide is a button to get to the actual interaction. In some cases, this can also be a "Please log in or register to participate" button if you want only registered users to be able to participate in the campaign.
Image Upload: This interactive component allows participants to take an image or upload an image from their media library. Incoming images are saved in the radiosphere studio and can be downloaded as png files in the results area of the corresponding campaign.
Audio upload: Users can record a voice message, listen to it and, if necessary, record a new one. Incoming recordings are stored in the radiosphere studio and can be downloaded as mp3 files in the results section of the corresponding campaign.
Text Input: These are specific text fields in which participants can enter various personal information: Name, email address, phone number or password. You can define in advance for which type of text input the respective field should be intended.
Text Area: Participants can send a message via a text input field. Incoming content can be retrieved in the results area of the corresponding campaign.
Checkbox: The checkbox is a mandatory component that must be inserted by you and confirmed by users as soon as they share personal data with you. A checkbox is typically used in this context to agree to the competition terms and conditions and the associated data transfer and collection.
Radio Buttons: Answer options you specify in advance are displayed to participants as one-choice elements with clickable, round fields next to them. The choice of the respective person can be called up in the results area of the corresponding campaign.
Submit Button: The submit button is at the end of each interaction slide and leads to the next one if it is clicked. It must be clicked after the last interaction within your campaign in order to complete participation and submit all details to you.
Acknowledgement: Here you can thank us for participating in your campaign. The thank you note is at the end of the interaction sequence on a separate slide. It also serves to let participants know that they have completed all the interactive components and have therefore participated successfully.
The different interactions require different levels of participation. While participants only have to make one decision for radio buttons and therefore have little effort, recording a voice message or selecting a suitable photo is more difficult and takes longer. The choice of the components of a campaign is therefore important for a high number of participations and their success.
Campaign results
You can check incoming information and the results of the participants in your campaign in the radiosphere Studio. To do so, open the Campaigns section in the left-hand menu. You will now be taken to the overview page of all the campaigns you have already created. Click on the relevant campaign to call up its details. Then click on the Results button in the top right-hand corner to access the participation results. We provide you with various parameters with which you can evaluate the results of your campaign. Find out what they are here.
