Tagging content allows you to organise your content within the radiosphere studio. Posts, groups, pages and persons can be tagged. In addition to groups, tags are another way of categorising content, which, unlike topic-specific groups, can also be applied to pages.
Tag Types
In the radiosphere Studio you can choose between different tag types - depending on the type of content you want to use the tag for. There are three tag types by default, but you can expand them if you wish:
Common: Applies to all types of content you place within posts or pages.
Member: These tags are only applicable to members. They can be used to tag job titles and fields of activity. For example, "moderator", "picture editor", etc. These tags can then be entered under Persons in the respective profile of a person in order to display their team membership. In addition, staff members can be listed according to the tag they have set.
Marketing and news tags: radiosphere supports various third-party providers (e.g. Ströer or dpa news), each of which has its own tags. With the help of these tags you can tag their content elements within your website and app. These tag types include, for example, the marketing zones on your pages or automatic news tags that can be used to tag dpa articles.
Create a tag
To create a tag, click on Library > Tags in the selection menu on the left in the radiosphere Studio and then on the Create Tag button in the top right of the tags overview page. Now enter the name of your tag in the Name line (e.g. 5 vor 12). Under Label enter the tag name with a # sign (e.g. #5vor12). Finally, you can assign the tag to a type (in this case Common). Click on Save Tag to save the creation. Click on Cancel to cancel the process without saving.
After you have saved the tag, you will be taken to the tags overview page again. Here you can see all the tags that have already been created for your organisation. To edit a tag, click on the three-dot menu to the right of the tag and then on Edit. You can delete the tag by clicking on the Delete field below it.
Tag content
Open the corresponding content in the radiosphere Studio Editor. On the left in the settings options, you will find a line where you can place tags. Click in the line and search for the desired tag. Once you have added a tag, it will automatically appear in the preview above the title of your content. You can add as many tags as you like. If you want to delete a tag, click on the x to the right of it.
