Here you have learned how to create a schedule template for your channel's weekly shows. To make this show schedule visible to your listeners for the corresponding channel, you need to add it to the respective channel.
Adding a Schedule Template to a channel
Click on Broadcast > Channels in the selection menu on the left. You will now be taken to the overview page of your channels. Is it still empty and you don't know how to create a new channel? You can find out how to do this here. Next, select the channel to which you want to add the schedule template for weekly shows. This is usually the main stream of your radio station. Of course, you can also add the same template to other channels. You will now be taken to the overview page of the selected channel. Now click on the three-dot menu to the right of the blue Open Editor button and then on Open Schedule.
The Schedule Editor for channels looks like the one for Schedule Templates, with the difference that you will see an Import button instead of the Save button at the top right. Click on this to import a previously created schedule template for the weekly show schedule of the respective channel. A small window will open where you can select the schedule template you want to import for the week from the Schedule dropdown. If you want to overwrite an already imported template with the new selection, you must activate the Overwrite conflicting slots? lever. Click on Import to insert the selected template and on Cancel to cancel this setting.
After you have confirmed the import, all show slots that you have inserted in the corresponding schedule template will now be displayed in the timetable. Important: The import is only imported for the week set above. Use the arrow buttons above the timetable to navigate through the weeks in order to import the template by clicking on Import.
Customize show slot details
You can also make changes to the respective show slot at the channel schedule level. To do this, click on the relevant show slot and various attribute settings will be displayed on the right-hand side. To make adjustments to the title, sub-title or show slot image for the selected show slot, click on the Open Show Editor button. There you can now make adjustments in the editor as usual, but these will not be applied to the actual show, but only to the selected show slot. After making your changes, don't forget to click Save and then Publish in the top right-hand corner of the editor. Important: This only applies to changes that you have made for the page of the corresponding show slot. You do not need to save and publish the import of a schedule template for channels. Imports are automatically applied after you have clicked on the blue Import button.
