There are two options for formatting text in the radiosphere Studio Editor: Either a specific part of a text block (or the whole text block) can be selected. This way you can style the text and write text passages either in italics, underlined, strikethrough or in bold. You can also add links to text parts. Alternatively, you can choose from predefined styles for your text.
Format text in italics, bold or underline/strikeout
In the editor, select the text area you want to edit. Now you can click on the B to make the text bold. Click on the i to display the text in italic. Click on the S to strike through the text and on the U to underline the text.
Link text
Select the text you want to link and press the bracket icon. In the dropdown menu you can choose between different link options:
- http:// -> for linking normal web pages
- https:// -> for linking encrypted web pages
- mailto: -> for linking email addresses
- tel: -> for linking phone numbers
Insert the desired website, email address or phone number into the free line. It is important that you keep to the following formats, so that the links can be integrated correctly:
- mailto: deinemail@web.de
- tel: +4912345678910
With the option Open External you can determine whether the web page opens in an external tab. This is especially useful for links where it is clear that users should come back to your website.
Complete the process by clicking on Set Link. Click the small trash can icon to close the window without setting a link.
Change font and background color of text
You can change the color of text and its background color using the editing options. Select the text and click on the underlined A for the text color or the color bucket for the background color. You can either choose from your Cooperate Identity colors by clicking on the empty rectangle and setting the color in the selection. Or you can specify a tone using the color scale. Click Set color to finalize the changes. Click the small trash can icon to restore the actual font color.
Formatting text in a text style
In many cases, you will want to give the text different styles and, for example, display headings, standard text, and quotes differently. To do this, click on the text block that you want to apply a text style to. A small menu will now appear on the right above the text block. Use the TT icon to select the appropriate text style. Important: Text styles can only be applied to an entire block.
There are different text styles:
Textstil | Beschreibung |
Display | Special text style to emphasize text dominantly, for example for special quotes |
Large Title | Text style for extra large headlines |
Title | Default text style for headings |
Sub Title | Default text style for sub-headings |
Body Large | Standard text in slightly larger |
Body Strong | Standard text in bold |
Body | Standard text |
Caption | Very small, mostly for signatures |
Blockquote | Text indented in an extra block for emphasis, good for quotes or particularly important information |
After selecting the text style, it will be displayed directly. If you are not sure which style is best, this will allow you to try out the different options.
