A redirect is often used to redirect an (invalid) URL within the same web page. This is especially useful for website and app relaunches. For example, a redirect can be used during relaunches or URL moves of websites and apps. If a page is redirected, this happens automatically and is hardly noticed by users. Accordingly, there are no restrictions in usability.
Create a redirect
Before you create a new redirect, you need to make sure that the page you want to redirect the URL to is already created. If you don't know how to create a page, you can read about it here.
Open the root overview of your website. Right click on Home, another page or another folder and then click + New child page to add a redirect.
Now enter a name for your new page under Path. This name is in the URL with a / after the main domain (e.g. www.fluxfm.de/mediathek). Under Type select the option Redirect. For Url, enter the URL of the page you want your page to redirect to.
Then click on the Create button at the bottom right.
On the right side of the redirect overview page, under Setup your page here... you can schedule the activation of the redirect and change the original URL as well as the redirect URL. Under Where does my page sit? you can see where your redirect is located in the web page/app structure.
Delete redirect
If you want to delete a redirect, click on the three-dot menu in the upper right corner and then on Delete Page. Confirm the operation by clicking Delete.
